  I bought living room furniture and bedroom furniture from Steinhafels. I was out of town when it was delivered, the armoire I purchased had a shelf that could go in, when the furniture was delivered, no one checked out the shelf. When I got home - it was I noticed it was too big to fit in the armoire and had holes drilled into the bottom of it. I called customer service and was told since it was not within 24 hours of delivery they couldn't do anything because I may have altered it. Not sure how I could make the shelf bigger? Fast forward a few years, my leather couches are peeling. Literally, the leather is peeling off of the couches. My living room has leather bits all over the floor. It's extremely embarrassing. I contacted customer service who told me yes, they were 100% real leather. They checked with the manufacturer to see if they had any of the same "leather scraps". They didn't, so Steinhafels did absolutely nothing. I share this and the pictures of my awful couches at every opportunity to sway people away from this company. Just purchased a new home and furnishing the entire house, Steinhafels is NOT on my list of places to buy from.
